A recent survey showed some very interesting statistics. Nationally, the median number of days that a house remains available on the market is now at only 27 days. Twenty five states are reported to have the days on market at less than 30. Three states, New Mexico, West Virginia and Vermont report between 76 – 90 days.
So where does the market in New Jersey stand? Surprisingly New Jersey is in the 45 -60 day range.
As an extra statistic, 33% of all buyers were purchasing their first home.
