It’s time to remove some old decorating ideas that long ago went out of style. If your house has shag carpet, dark wood paneling, popcorn ceilings, avocado, Harvest Gold, baby blue or pink kitchen appliances or bathroom fixtures, it’s time to get rid of them. These are items that date your house and today’s buyers do not want to see them. Face it, most buyers are coming in on a shoestring budget. They don’t have lots of cash to spend on upgrades after they purchase a house. So they want it done before they buy, or they may need to live with these things for quite a while. They may very well move on to a house that has already had these items replaced with more modern and up-to-date decorating ideas.
